
Hackathon: Winners Announced!
The day has come: the first ever Railway User Hackathon winners have been chosen!
We had incredible creativity from the Railway community and saw projects ranging from using Railway primitives to helping farmers.
Drumroll please… 🥁
1️⃣ 1st place: Switchyard, an autoscaling infrastructure platform
2️⃣ 2nd place: Rundown, an AI-first RSS reader
3️⃣ 3rd place: Pushflow, a web push notification management system
What we loved: these projects combined several services and variables to do something novel and creative. We believe all of these could be useful to our users.
Honorable mentions:
- Teamx - Appwrite, a team collaboration app
- Logcar, a Railway-native database using logs
- Railway service cron, for scheduling your deployments
- Rails 8 starter stack
- Remotion, a video generation server Rails deployment
- Wordpress with Redis implementation

3️⃣ 3rd place: Mosaic, a knowledge management system
What we loved: these content pieces address specific use cases while incorporating Railway’s primitives. They explain in detail how the use case can be addressed on Railway.
